Our SSL/TLS Certificates

The SSL/TLS cer­tifi­cate secures your sites in HTTPS, which ensures that the data exchanged between the user’s brows­er and the web­site is encrypt­ed and can­not be spied on (con­fi­den­tial­i­ty) or mod­i­fied (integri­ty).

Nameshield offers a range cov­er­ing SSL/TLS cer­tifi­cates of all types and authen­ti­ca­tion lev­els:

Best prac­tices for man­ag­ing dig­i­tal cer­tifi­cates sug­gest man­ag­ing one cer­tifi­cate per machine and per iden­ti­ty. For cost or tech­ni­cal sim­pli­fi­ca­tion rea­sons, you are not lim­it­ed to a sep­a­rate SSL/TLS dig­i­tal cer­tifi­cate per address or machine. It is pos­si­ble to group mul­ti­ple address­es onto a sin­gle cer­tifi­cate using var­i­ous options:

• Wildcard TLS DV/OV Certificates: You secure a pri­ma­ry domain name and an unlim­it­ed num­ber of attached sub­do­mains.
• TLS Certificates with SAN DV/OV/EV: You can group up to 250 unique entries with­in a sin­gle cer­tifi­cate, pos­si­bly asso­ci­at­ed with dif­fer­ent domain names.

Other digital certificates

SSL/TLS cer­tifi­cates are not the only dig­i­tal cer­tifi­cates avail­able. For spe­cif­ic com­pli­ance, sig­na­ture, and oth­er needs, Nameshield offers a com­pre­hen­sive range of solu­tions to meet every use case by pro­vid­ing:

• Code Certificates. Certificates to sign your soft­ware code and authen­ti­cate the own­ing orga­ni­za­tion.
